Product Description
A professional acoustic curtain combining sound insulation and sound absorption, improving the acoustic comfort of the space.
The curtain is made of 100% polyester and is constructed from three main fabric sheets forming five functional layers.
The outer layer has a waffle texture, which helps reduce sound reflections and reverberation inside the room. The inner layers include a dense fabric and a dedicated coating, which contribute to reducing sound transmission through the curtain.
The unique construction and the fabric’s high weight combine acoustic improvement, blackout and thermal insulation in a single solution.
Acoustic Performance
The curtain helps reduce everyday noises such as speech, television, musical instruments, barking dogs and street noise.

Installation
- It is recommended to install the curtain so that it covers the entire window opening.
- Minimise gaps at the sides, top and bottom as far as possible.
- Can be installed using the supplied hanging hooks, according to the installation kit.
- Tiebacks can be used to gather the curtain as needed.
Covering the opening as fully as possible helps improve the acoustic insulation and blackout performance.
Care and Cleaning
- Regular dust removal with a vacuum cleaner is recommended.
- Can be hand washed gently at temperatures of up to 40°C.
- Do not use bleach.
- Drying in the shade is recommended.
- Avoid frequent washing and follow the product label instructions.

How strong is the noise insulation effect compared with regular curtains?
In numerical terms, the noise insulation effect ranges between 8db and 25 db, averaging 12.5db
For example, in the case of piano sounds, the sound can be reduced from loud to only faint and at a level that is no longer disturbing,
by installing noise-blocking curtains. The noise insulation effect varies greatly depending on the conditions of the customer’s room and the installation method.
It is best to have no gaps
The noise insulation effect is stronger when there are no gaps. Sound can pass through if there are gaps, so it is best to avoid gaps as far as possible.
Does the 5-layer structure mean the curtain is made of 5 pieces of fabric?
No. Two of the three pieces of fabric are coated, which gives it the 5-layer fabric structure.
How many hooks do they come with?
It depends on the size. For example, a ready-made size 110 cm wide comes with 8 hooks attached to the curtain.
Are they effective at reducing outdoor noise from cars or trains?
The sound will be reduced to some extent, but it will likely not be as effective as one might hope for deep bass sounds such as car engines.
Can the curtains be repaired?
We do not offer curtain repairs.
Are they effective for controlling noise from musical instruments?
It depends on the instrument, but it is very likely that the sound will be reduced to some extent.
For example, in the case of piano sounds, sound that was previously heard loudly can be reduced so that it is audible but no longer disturbing, by installing noise-blocking curtains.
Do you sell the curtain fabric on its own?
No, we do not.
Can they be machine washed?
Based on the product specifications, the curtains cannot be machine washed due to the thickness and weight of the fabric. Please dry clean or wash them by hand.
Will the noise insulation effect decrease after washing?
